Job Title: HR Administrator
Location: Consett
Hours: 37 hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm 
Salary/Rates: £15-16K (depending on experience) 

The purpose of the role is to provide administration support to the HR Manager and recruitment function within the business.

The purpose of the role is to provide administration support to the HR Manager and recruitment function within the business.

Your duties will include: 

  • Providing support and assistance with the recruitment process.
  • Processing new starters including chasing necessary recruitment documentation, obtaining references, processing DBS applications and carrying out ID checks
  • Issuing of contracts
  • Ensuring that all personnel records are kept up to date and maintained in line with industry regulations
  • Assisting with the identification of potential staff issues
  • Preparation for appraisals, investigations and disciplinaries
  • Supporting the smooth and efficient administration and running of the HR Department
  • Handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • General administration
About You:

The suitable candidate will have previous experience within a similar role. You will have worked in a busy office environment, be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work independently. Attention to detail is essential.

Further requirements:

  • 2 years administration experience (Essential)
  • Experience within the care sector (Desirable)
