  • Kelly Park Limited gained accreditation with Durham County Council, Durham & Darlington NHS Primary Care Trust (CCG),Gateshead M.B.C and South Tyneside Council and have an excellent working relationship with Commissioning Staff, Care Managers, District Nurses and other Health Care Professionals.

  • Since 1994 our Home Care Support Workers distinctive black uniforms have become a familiar sight throughout County Durham, employing Home Care Support Workers in Chester Le Street, Durham, Stanley, Consett, Gateshead & South Tyneside. We can match their wide range of care experience to your specific needs.

  • Our Human Resources Department constantly monitors our Home Care Support Workers and Senior Home Care Support Workers performances to ensure they meet your requirements. All Home Care Support Workers wear identity badges for easy recognition and security.

  • We were registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commision) in March 2004 and became an umbrella Body for the Criminal Records Bureau offering our services to those in need nationally.As a member of the United Kingdom Home Care Association we operate to stringent standards and receive regular updates on Home Care Issues.

Summary of the Statement of Purpose

Kelly Park Limited was founded in August 1994 to provide Home Care Support Workers to both Social Services, NHS Primary Care Trusts and Private Service Users.

We aim to provide a high quality service to Service Users of all ages in their own home respecting their independence, privacy and dignity. We aim to ensure they enjoy the best quality of life at home.

In the past Twenty years our Home Care Support Workers distinctive black uniforms have become a familiar sight throughout the County. The Company operates 365 days a year - Day Care bewtween 7.00am and 10.00pm. Evening Care between 10.00pm and 7.00am.

A Dedicated Team

thumbsupOur dedicated team of Care Support Workers ensure the health and care of our Service Users is in the very best hands, a great deal of trouble is taken choosing reliable, caring staff. We check the qualifications of all our Home Care Support Workers rigorously and all references are thoroughly taken up to ensure that our Service Users have piece of mind.

Prospective employees are required to provide at interview:

  • Proof of Identification.
  • 2 Passport photographs.
  • The names of two referees, one of which would be their most recent employer.
  • Certificates attained in relation to care work.
  • Full Criminal Records Check. (Enhanced DBS including POVA, protection of vulnerable adults)

Once satisfactory references are received and the Company is satisfied that the applicant has the relevant experience and is suitable, they will undergo Induction Training (Skills for Care Training) before assignments are allocated to them.

Such needs may be medical / therapeutic (for physical and mental welfare), cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social, and Service Users are encouraged to participate in the development of their individualised Care Plans in which the involvement of family and friends may be appropriate and is greatly valued.

We provide personal care to service users in their own homes who require such support in order to remain independent.

Insurance

The company is covered by the following Insurance cover

Employee Liability Insurance:

Name of Insurance Company: Royal Sun Alliance.
Expiry Date: October Annually.
The indemnity provided by the Employee Liability Insurance is a minimum of £10,000,000 for any one incident.

Public Liability Insurance:

Name of Insurance Company: Royal Sun Alliance.
Expiry Date: October Annually
The indemnity provided by the Public Insurance is a minimum of £3,000,000 for any one accident or any one claim.

Malpractice Insurance:

Name of Insurance Company: Royal Sun Alliance.
Expiry Date: October Annually.
The indemnity provided by the Malpractice Insurance is a minimum of £1,000,000 for any one claim to allow for any act of negligence by the employer or employee.


We will safeguard the property of all Service Users whilst undertaking all care tasks, any loss or damage to the property which happens whilst providing the care must be reported to the company immediately and will be covered under our insurance policy.  All claims will be checked for validity by the insurance company.
